Introduction

Hi there! My name is Cody Raphael, and I am a 28 year old former college rower. After my rowing career ended, I found myself searching for a new sport to challenge myself and keep me active. Over the years, I have tried my hand at a variety of sports and workouts, from running to weight lifting to yoga.


But recently, I have discovered a new love for the high-intensity, functional workouts of CrossFit. As someone who has always been drawn to team sports and the camaraderie that comes with them, I have found that CrossFit provides the perfect balance of competition and community for me.


I am excited to share my journey with CrossFit on this blog, as I continue to push myself and see what my body is capable of. I hope to inspire others who may be looking for a new workout routine or simply looking to improve their overall fitness.
